Amy Laws is a dedicated Customer Representative who hails from Travelers Rest. Alongside her husband and two sons, she proudly calls this place home. Amy has been an invaluable member of our agency since June of 1998. She holds licenses in various insurance fields, including Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Car Insurance, Truck Insurance, Motorcycle Insurance, SUV Insurance, Fire Insurance (covering both home insurance and renters insurance), as well as Commercial insurance.

Beyond her professional achievements, Amy finds joy in her personal life. When she isn't serving customers, she cherishes spending quality time with her two beloved dogs, Odie and Izzy. Additionally, Amy enjoys leisurely boating on the lake and immersing herself in a good book.

Steve Waddell is the Office Manager at the agency. He has been a part of the team since April 2005 and has extensive experience in various types of insurance, including Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Auto Insurance, and Fire Insurance (home insurance and renters insurance). Steve was raised in the Blue Ridge area and has been happily married to his wife since August 1980. Together, they have two grown sons. Apart from his professional life, Steve has also been involved in his community as a past City of Travelers Rest Councilman and a member of the Travelers Rest Lions Club. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, watching football, and cherishing moments with his loved ones.

Karen Balliet is a Marketing Coordinator since February 2015 and she is currently living in the Greenville area. Originally from the Midwest, she moved to South Carolina in 2014 from Florida. She has been working in the insurance industry since 2009 and held a license in South Carolina. In her leisure time, she finds joy in exploring new destinations through travel, embarking on invigorating hikes along scenic trails, taking leisurely walks with her faithful canine companion, Arctic, and savoring precious moments with her two cherished feline friends, Blue and Remi.

Andy Tate, a Customer Representative, was born and raised in Travelers Rest and has a deep connection to the community. He graduated from Winthrop University in 2022 and quickly became a valued member of our agency. Andy's knowledge extends across a range of insurance fields, including Auto, Home, Commercial Lines, Surety, Life, and Health insurance. When he's not assisting customers, Andy enjoys immersing himself in his passion for music, spending quality time with friends, and participating in activities like pickleball and disc golf. He also cherishes outdoor adventures with his loyal canine companion, Maggie. Andy and his wife have chosen to make their home in the Greenville area.

Alex Matson is a Customer Service Representative who hails from Upstate New York but currently calls Greenville home. He completed his education at Manhattan College in New York City, where he actively participated in track and field. After graduating, Alex joined our agency and obtained licenses in Auto, Home, Commercial Lines, Life, and Health insurance. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, cycling, and watching baseball. Growing up, Alex had the opportunity to explore various destinations with his family, with Hilton Head, SC being a particularly favored spot.
